Isis Chimney Care A member of The Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps Links COCAA stands for the Carbon Monoxide Consumer Awareness Alliance, and it is a group made up of organisations that all have an interest in ensuring the public is aware of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisoning and how to keep themselves safe from this poisonous gas.  Official body recognised by Government to approve biomass and solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services including the registration of competent installers and servicing businesses. This is the website of the National Energy Foundation's Log Pile project, a project that aims to promote and aid the use of wood as a source of renewable energy and sustainable heating.  Although the funding for this project has now come to an end they do regularly update their lists of suppliers. Other pages are updated on an ad hoc basis only. Their aims are to promote greater awareness of the benefits of solid fuel and biomass heating among the general public and to encourage both safety in use and best installation practice for the domestic solid fuel and biomass sector. Organisation established to improve the standards and professionalism of the UK chimney sweeping industry while safeguarding both the public and trade from the risk of chimney fires and CO poisoning.
